Comagricola Green Europe is an Italian company specialising in materials for building and maintaining sports and residential turf. Comagricola produces and sells seeds and seed mixtures, fertilisers, biological turf-protection products, wetting agents and flowery meadow seeds. Comagricola is based in Ponte San Pietro, in the province of Bergamo, Italy.

Comagricola Green Europe organises its range into six main lines: Seeds (Blue Line, Green Line and pure varieties), Fertilisers, the Organic Line, wetting agents and surfactants (Aqua Aid range), Flowery meadow (Landscape, Ornamental, Special and Insect repopulation ranges) and Hydroseeding. Each line has a dedicated page on the website listing the available products.

Comagricola Green Europe was founded in 1977 and has been operating for over 45 years. In the 1980s Comagricola started its seed partnership with DLF-Trifolium of Denmark. Later milestones include slow-release fertilisers with Lebanon Seaboard (2004), seed-mixture trials with the University of Milan (2008), fully biological turf-protection protocols (2012), beneficial insects with Bioconsult (2014) and the Turf-On professional fertiliser line (2017).

Comagricola divides its seeds into three lines: Blue Line, Green Line and pure varieties. Pure varieties are single-species or single-variety seeds, while Blue Line and Green Line group turf seed mixtures designed for different uses. [Distinctive positioning of Blue Line vs Green Line.

Comagricola sources its seeds through the partnership started in the 1980s with DLF-Trifolium of Denmark. Since 2008 Comagricola has been testing its seed mixtures in collaboration with the University of Milan.

Wetting agents and surfactants improve how water spreads and is retained in the soil, counteracting problems such as soil water repellency. In this category Comagricola offers products from the Aqua Aid range.

Hydroseeding is a grassing technique in which a machine sprays the ground with a mixture of seeds, tackifiers, mulch and fertilisers. Hydroseeding is used to establish grass on large areas, slopes and ground that is difficult to seed by conventional methods. Comagricola supplies products and materials for professional hydroseeding.

The Comagricola Organic Line groups organically oriented products for turf nutrition and protection. Since 2012 Comagricola has followed fully biological turf-protection protocols.

Integrated biological control fights turf pests by using natural antagonist organisms instead of relying on chemical treatments alone. Since 2014 Comagricola has worked with Bioconsult to use beneficial insects in its protection protocols.

A flowery meadow is an area sown with mixtures of flowering species, on their own or combined with grasses. A flowery meadow serves ornamental and landscaping purposes and supports biodiversity by providing food for bees and other pollinating insects.

Comagricola organises its flowery meadow seeds into four ranges: Landscape, Ornamental, Special and Insect repopulation. The Insect repopulation range is dedicated to mixtures that support bees and other pollinators.
