Description
WOOD FIBER MULCH is a 100% wood-fibre hydromulch for hydroseeding and erosion control. On application it forms a protective cover that stabilises the seed, creates a microclimate conducive to germination and improves uniformity and establishment. The fibres, produced from wood chips thermo-mechanically treated at 180 °C, are long, clean and sterile. The green pigmentation makes visual control of coverage easy and is non-toxic to animals and the environment. WOOD FIBER MULCH contains no tackifier: it must be mixed with a binder during tank preparation (e.g. VERDEMAX), with which it achieves water retention of up to 22 times (2,200%). The product comes in 17 kg bales (0.42 × 0.34 × 0.62 m); typical dilution is about 400 L of water with a paddle agitator, and functional longevity reaches up to 6 months, field-verified..
